Dr. Cyndi O’Toole is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst–Doctoral (BCBA-D), certified educational diagnostician, and certified special education teacher with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences.

She began her career as a special education teacher, serving students with hearing impairments and co-occurring disabilities, and later became an Educational Diagnostician, coordinating services for children with diverse needs. From 2010 to 2017, she directed the Statewide Leadership for Autism Training initiative at the Texas Education Service Center, Region 13. In that role, she built statewide professional development resources such as txautism.net and autismcircuit.net and partnered with the Texas Education Agency and Texas Tech University on a $1.5 million legislative project to expand autism training for educators.

Since 2017, Dr. O’Toole has worked directly with families through private practice, providing diagnostic services, therapy, and coaching to ensure evidence-based, individualized supports across the lifespan. She also serves as an Assistant Professor in the Applied Behavior Analysis master’s program at St. Edward’s University, teaching graduate-level courses on autism assessment, characteristics, and ethics.
